1510 brokered?

My guess is afternoons at 1510 doing a big show type show.

Glenn would make money on a brokered deal and he would hurt Entercom a little.

When Eddie Andleman and Sean McDonough were at WWZN over 10 years ago they made no dent in the ratings but had PPM existed then it might have done better.

1510's signal isn't that bad ( as say compared to 890 )

A new local morning show will be launching soon on 1510. I doubt 1510 is interested in taking on the cost of hiring Orway and I doubt Ordway would want to buy time on 1510 and attract sponsors.

I agree with the other posters who say he will most likely land a TV gig. If he was going to produce his own show he would have a much easier time selling ads on a TV show than a radio broadcast.

I can actually foresee a Felger/Ordway show on CSN on Sunday nights.

I would not discount Ordway showing up on 1510 as he would bring enough ads over to buy the time and he would hurt Entercom.

Glenn would make money on a brokered deal

After being a big fish in a big pond, why would he opt for the small change, obscurity option this late in his career?

and he would hurt Entercom a little.

Is there any evidence Ordway wants to hurt Entercom? Everyone who turns a contract dispute into a radio grudge match just makes themselves look stupid. For example, Wolfie may have turned Howie Carr into his bit#h, but does anyone really think that Howie Carr would take a short money gig on some thousand watter just to stick his thumb in Wolfie's eye? Carr is a mean-spirited philistine, not an idiot.

When Eddie Andleman and Sean McDonough were at WWZN over 10 years ago they made no dent in the ratings but had PPM existed then it might have done better.

Great cases in point. Self inflicted wounds that served neither of them, nor their legacies, well.

1510's signal isn't that bad ( as say compared to 890 )

TV is the best option, and that's where I'd bet on Ordway popping up with a permanent gig. Although the money won't be as good (those days may be coming to an end for just about everybody in traditional media), any TV gig automatically is higher status than radio and spares Ordway those 'how the mighty have fallen" stories which will come out of the woodwork if he surfaces at a second or third tier radio station.

Regards,
TSB

Does Ordway still have that weekly football show on CSN with DeOssie and Smerlas?
