Those are Cumulus results which, who doesn't find them fascinating? Guessing there's a batch of other stations in and around that WMGS number before we start seeing another Cumulus station.

Why is Cumulus the only radio company in Wilkes-Barre / Scranton to subscribe to Arbitron. Why does Arbitron even bother at all. How can you sell these ratings?

I don't believe that Cumulus IS the only radio company that subscribes to Arbitron.

it will be interesting to see what cumulus and entercom stations do when the winter book comes out. im thinking in april sometime. im sure froggy and krz will do fine, but wilks numbers have been falling the last few books. they look good because they have a few am stations, and one fm..and, they are the only local news/ talk in town..yes the talker is in our area, but as warm found out years ago, you cant run syndicated talk shows 90% of the time. people in this area like local stuff, even if you get the same few callers on each show. magic will do o.k. for cumulus..the rest, well who knows...

Thoughts? Sure.

Froggy, KRZ, or Magic will be number 1.

Entercomm stations overall will dominate.

A random station that has been trending either upward or downward will see an oddball statistical fluctuation in the opposite direction of it's trend which will trigger a half-dozen deep thinkers who loiter here to decree why it happened and what it means for the future and by the next book when the fluctuation has ironed itself out all that expert hypothesizing will be long forgotten and someone will be asking this same question again.
