Sundown for Craig at 104.5
« on: March 05, 2013, 01:48:26 PM »

Craig Thomas, host of the Craig and Sheila Show at Sunny 104.5, has apparently been let go. The message from the Sunny facebook page:

"So, some of you have asked where Craig is. Craig is no longer with Sunrise Broadcasting. It was a management decision. But I want to strongly point out he did nothing wrong. I've been waiting, trying to come up with something meaningful and profound, but I've got nothing eloquent to say. Just that I miss my BFF. Thank you guys for your support and I will continue on, doing the best I can to make your day a Sunny one. – Sheila"

I wish the best of luck to Craig, and hope he lands on his feet!

What a bad move for Sunrise!

They should move him to WRAL in Raleigh... where Bill is retiring....

Bummer.

Knew him when he started as a part-timer at WJNC.

Until I hear different, I'm going to assume this is about Sunrise not wanting to write him any more paychecks of the size someone with 30 years in the biz might expect.

And now we have learned Mark Jacobs, the program director for "Sunny 104.5", will be leaving at the end of this week, something is going on at the "Sunrise Broadcasting" station, and what changes are coming?, stay tuned.
