Bernie Eagan has been with Emmis 30+ years, but not at the same station. JD Canon has done country for 30+ years but not at the same station.
J.D. came to town, left for Des Moines and then returned. I'd guess that Eric Garnes, between WIFE, WENS and WYXB, has been on-air continuously in Indianapolis longer than anyone else currently in the market.
Still I didn't make my original question clear enough. Please allow me to rephrase. Is there any one person or team who can claim 30 years in AM drive at the same station in Indianapolis? I'd say Jim Denny is the closest at this point in time. Or perhaps someone from the past like Wally Nehrling?
And who else am I forgetting for longevity in the market regardless of daypart?
