WLBT's Eric Law arrested

He was arrested for an inappropriate relationship with a minor. Shocking!

Ironically, Law was the victim of a crash resulting from a high-speed chase that happened in south Jackson in 2006.

I personally think they should hire back the WDBD weatherman that WLBT canned after they took over WDBD's newscast.  I'm not a fan of WLBT taking over WDBD.  WDBD was fine the way it was.  WDBD is now second banana to WLBT.  Now we have WLBT graphics and cheesy music over WDBD, and WLBT anchors who have come to "rescue" WDBD.   It makes it look like the old WDBD anchors had to have WLBT to muscle in and "save" the station.  I've noticed that their WLBT graphics and promos keep interupting WDBD programming.   They are also doing weather reports during the middle of popular shows that WDBD mostly did during commercial breaks.  WDBD 40 and 40.2 have become a technical mess lately.

Lets give all the credit to WLBT for ruining the WDBD news department. Letting the lovely Laura Britt was their biggest mistake!

they didn't just ruin it, they completely did away with it.  WDBD is now nothing more than a place for WLBT to eliminate the competition and to plug themselves.

I would like to comment on the implications for WLBT's weather department. WLBT is going to have to find another weathercaster. As you look at the news reports if everything is true he has ruined his career. So sad for someone who was an up and comer at Channel 3
