Where's your sense of humor.... I said there were new shows added.. Why are Barsky's airchecks still up there.. Lisa Miller was his agent.. If her company Miller Broadcasting took over these stations then its interesting to me. Miller website doesn't say they own stations, but anyone can buy a station whenever they want.. AM is cheap. No one seems to know who bought the stations and how they can stay on air with no money coming in due to bankruptcy.
The previous posters are correct, that is, TGunn and AM Rocks. The website for the station is grossly wayyyy out of date, and seem it hasn't been serviced for over a year, at least since the time of the bankruptcy.
TheBarsky airchecks are up there, most likely, due lack of a webmaster doing updates, and not any marketing plan to shop Basky, or bring him back. He has a very bad medical issue that caused him to leave the air. Same goes for the job postings. Those are not new openings, and there isn't a new owner who is hiring. Those jobs have been up for over a year, and outdated as well, since the bankruptcy when the station seem to have had a mass exodus of employees leaving due to not getting paychecks.
The music show, the doo wop shop isn't new either . . . that's been on the air for a couple years on 850 now, since JCR sold 1040 WLVJ, which is where that show previously aired. And as AM, or was it T, who said . . . and word from others is that there were/are no bidders on the stations. So, it seems the creditor who was trying to collect the debt is running it because, well, they're stuck with the stations.
Miller doesn't own, operate stations and there's nothing to indicate they made bids. Even if they did bid . . . they'd be subject to FCC approval to assure they're eligible to run the stations, which takes a long time to determine . . . and thus, at this time, the creditor who initiated the bankruptcy is running the stations at the moment. Just because you bid, don't mean you run it. It means you put a bid and various parties will review the paperwork.
