Chelsea O’Donnell, the 17-year-old daughter of comedian Rosie O’Donnell, has gone missing, according to O’Donnell’s website.

The younger O’Donnell was reported missing in Nyack, New York. Police have been searching for her in the Rockland County area since Sunday.

Chelsea was last seen August 11, wearing a black sweatshirt hoodie, dark ripped blue jeans, women’s grey Converse sneakers and a black backpack.

Since Rosie O'Donnell is a National TV personality.

She is? I thought it was only because Trump mentioned her recently. ;)

From the missing persons sheet it sounds like she dresses just like her mother. I think if I were O'Donnell's kid I would run away too.

Regardless of my opinions of someone's stances or talents, I respect that they are someone's loved one, and they, too, have loved ones. I won't mock anyone going through that type of experience, nor what appears to be someone suffering from an illness.

A happy ending... :)

With all her faults, she does care about her children and I'm glad this turned out as well as it did.

I once reviewed a Hallmark Hall of Fame on imdb where she, already an annoying person, played an annoying mentally disabled person. She must be very talented because she made me care about that person.

Disliked? Reviled?

I liked her character in "A League of Their Own" but her TV and personal appearances leave much to be desired. She is, in many ways, a personification of what is wrong with electronic entertainment today.

Definitely agreed. What happened to when she was called the Queen of Nice?

I was reading the daughter has mental problems. This could be related to why she disappeared, but her mother is to be even more admired for her caring nature because of this.

I'm no big fan of Rosie - and that goes back to her start - hosting stand-up comic shows on the Comedy Channel...the predecessor to Comedy Central. I just didn't find her funny. But I don't think she's a "personification" of anything.

People are so easily bothered...if she bugs you on her infrequent on-air appearances, tune in to one of your other 200+ channels.

What I meant specifically is her over-the-top loud-mouth attitude towards anything she disagrees with. She is rude, impolite and uncaring in a lot of her public statements. In general, a very disagreeable person.

Along with half a dozen other Hollywood personalities who, to me, are absolutely worthless individuals I do not watch anything she is in (with the single exception of the movie identified earlier).

What you are describing is exactly what you just did in your last post.
Rosie's daughter has been found and returned.

I don't see it that way. LKellerIII stated he didn't see her as a "personification of anything" so I explained why I did. I doubt there is a single person out there who can successfully disagree with my observation of her "talents". She is a female version of Don Rickles - only Don was in character. Rosie is not.

In any event, what I stated was not a message of hatred but merely a description of her on stage performance. None of this has anything to do with her daughter whom I feel very sorry for.
