'A-Team' TV Series Remake in the Works at 20th Century Fox TV

A new version of “The A-Team” is in the works at 20th Century Fox Television, TheWrap has learned.

The remake series would follow a team of American special operatives, but in the modernized take on the material, would feature both men and women on the team.

Albert Kim set to write the script and original “A-Team” creator Stephen J. Cannell‘s daughter Tawnia McKiernan, a TV director, is also on board.

The original series aired on NBC from 1983-1987 and starred George Peppard, Dirk Benedict, Dwight Schultz and Mr. T.

Albert Kim wrote some good episodes of Leverage, so there's a little bit of a reason for hope.

Not really, considering they got a huge boost from having their premiere after Super Bowl XVII. Their two years of big success came against ABC's Tuesday schedule that was in a major transition, and in season four, the fade began. By the fall of 1986, they were banished to Friday nights and quickly went off the air.
