Cable systems that don’t carry all “Big Four” networks in HD

As I mentioned, the Charter system in Fayetteville TN only carries ABC, CBS and NBC in HD. Also, the Charter (ex-Bresnan) system in Great Falls MT has no NBC in HD (the NBC station in Great Falls is a low-power, analog-only satellite of KTVH Helena). Another ex-Bresnan system in Leadville CO has no local (broadcast) HD at all – just the national cable networks.

What are some other examples of this TV oddity?

Fidelity in Rolla MO has the CBS, FOX, NBC and even CW stations in HD but chose the ABC station from Springfield MO over the possibly ABC's weakest affiliate from STL (KDNL) for ABC in HD

Niagara Community TV Co-op (Niagara WI) only carries ABC, FOX and NBC in HD. But Niagara's other cable company (Borderlandnet) has all seven Green Bay stations plus ABC and NBC from Marquette in HD!

From the "Cable systems located in one market that carry another market’s channels in HD" thread:

Comcast in Fort Recovery, OH (Mercer County - Dayton DMA) only has four broadcast stations in HD, but they are CW and one of the PBS (WIPB) from Indianapolis and CW and NBC from Dayton. In SD, the system adds ABC and NBC from Fort Wayne, CBS and FOX from Dayton, and MNT from Indianapolis: http://www.zap2it.com/tvlistings/fort-recovery?zip=45846&mso=08010&store=1&lineupid=USA-OH55292-X

Also from that same thread:

Comcast Sebastian, FL (Indian River County - West Palm Beach DMA) carries ABC, CW, NBC, and PBS, plus a religious independent from West Palm Beach, FOX and ION from Orlando, and Telemundo from Miami (!) in HD. In SD, AZA, CBS, FOX, and MNT from West Palm Beach and CBS and UniMas from Orlando are added. Oddly, no CBS in HD and the national feed of Univision: http://www.zap2it.com/rmp/tvgrid/tvgridprint?lineupid=USA-FL68187-X&tz=US/Eastern&time=0

Trenton TV Cable Co. - Trenton TN (Jackson DMA)
Only carries the in-market ABC, FOX and PBS stations in HD.

As it stands now Trenton Cable carries CBS from WBBJ 7.3 in Jackson, TN, which is in SD. No HD from Memphis or Nashville. NBC comes from WMC in Memphis and WPSD in Paducah, KY, but both are in SD. I don't know if this will change with WNBJ-LD 39 coming to Jackson, or if there won't be any change. In any case it's pretty ridiculous that CBS and NBC aren't in HD from Memphis or Nashville, even if they aren't in the Jackson market. But then I've heard that they're a cheapskate system so it probably shouldn't be any big surprise.

not anymore
Charter site shows KGWN-DT2 (the new Scottsbluff NBC) as the NBC in the area. (technically its KSTF-DT2 or KNEP-DT2)
KUSA is gone completely
zap2it still reflects KUSA (which is wrong)

Comcast Yanceyville NC (Caswell County - Greensboro DMA) carries UNCTV, ION and NBC Greensboro and PBS, CBS and ABC Roanoke in HD. SD adds ABC, TCT, MNT, FOX and CBS Greensboro and NBC Roanoke. No FOX HD from either market, and no CW at all!
