55KRC now running NBC News / Fox News Radio Gone

I understand your point, but the truth is: If you don't service your debt, you'll go bankrupt, and that is what they face right now. Look at the price of their bonds.

They haven't missed a payment, and no one is calling in their loans. They have lots of revenue streams, including their outdoor advertising division, that's also extremely profitable. All of these stories about iHeart bankruptcy are highly over-stated.

Lots of wishful thinking by old jocks who think these stations will all be bought for pennies on the dollar by mom and pop operators, and we'll all be re-hired as 60 year old top 40 jocks.

NBC New is too much for me. The "Tunein App" Carries WHIO in Dayton

Since this new year, Fox News Radio is gone from 55KRC and is replaced with NBC Radio News.
Looks like I-Heart has switched everything to NBC. With all the anti-NBC on 55KRC, I can't imagine how I-Heart conservative talker stations benefit whatsoever with this arrangement on those stations. I remember how WLW went ABC for WKRC to have FOX News Radio, a much better fit for them.
NBC is despised throughout the day on conservative talkers. Many will and have already tuned out at the first mention of NBC News.

This article below about I-Heart/NBC is from last July, 2016..

I have been a 55KRC listener for over 10 years and I have used IHeartRadio. Right now I use the "Tunein" app to avoid NBC news. You can get conservative talk in SW Ohio by listening to WHIO (1290). You will miss some of the local favorites, but you WILL NOT have to listen to Glen Beck or NBC news. If you think NBC news is unbiased news, why would you listen to conservative talk radio!

One nice thing about WHIO is they carry several shows you can't hear in Columbus or Cincinnati. Herman Cain, Clark Howard, Kilmeade and Friends and Dana Loesch come to mind. I am certain none of those shows air here in Columbus and am fairly certain about Cincy, but feel free to correct me on this.

That's because WHIO is owned by Cox, and those are Cox shows.
