Is it just me or the song “I love you always and forever by Donna Lewis and Human by the Human league would be the perfect song to play on 106.1 the breeze. Im actually surprised they had not played it yet

Do you think 106.1 the breeze has a chance of sucess I think it will if I heart promotes it well
Sunny didn’t, but that doesn’t mean the results would have changed dramatically.
As for “localizing,” I’m not making assumptions about their research either way. It could be that the data isn’t aligned with what we “think” it would say. It’s also, what, three days in? We shall see how it evolves.
All of the soft AC stations weren't intended to become the top of their market, but they ended up that way.
Sunny didn't have the benefit of the PPM.
PPM data for Sunny might have helped in expressing TSL but I'm really not exactly sure how they were selling the station back then. .
It's funny how just a few years ago Classic Hip Hop was the hot format that lasted less than a year in many markets. Just because Tampa, Jacksonville and other markets have hit #1 with their soft A/C formats, do you think this format has a chance to last for any long period of time across the country?
I can’t think of a major station that increase TSL when the PPM became currency. Most dropped significantly, just as market PUR levels dropped by as much as 40%.

The Sean Ross columns on another forum did a nice job synthesizing the trend, and how the stations are sounding today. I mean, I'd give up my head of hair....oh wait, I don't have that any more....to never hear a Whitney Houston song so long as I live. Or Celine Dion. But they fit the tone, and so be it.
