The speech was on the Israel Palestine issue. But going forward media outlets on Youtube and on Cable have to decide which rants are ok vs which rants can get a pundit fired though.

We had this discussion about the Boris rant. There's a fine line with controversial issues between attracting a passionate audience, and offending the general population. If the only goal is attracting the passionate audience, then rant away. But if you want to stay in business, you will need to tame the ranters. As you notice, the folks at ESPN have been successful at doing that. The ranters can't expect that their rants won't find their way to the general audience, where they will be subject to ad boycotts and other protests.
