The Mike Douglas show feat ELO host Richrd Pryor of this post here Regards from Argentina. If some of you can hep me with material about ELO will be apreciate Jorge

I worked as an usher at a theater where George C. Scott's movie "The Savage is Loose" played. It was subject to controversy as detractors though it promoted incest (it was about a couple and their infant son shipwrecked on an island; the son would grow to witness his parents making love and as a young adult battled his dad for mom). Scott sent letters to theaters (ours included) asking patrons to see it as a testimony to family bonds.

Here, KXLY has pre-empted Good Times in favor for the second half of friggin' Hee-Haw. But don't worry, Spokane; you can catch the episode in six days, on Monday, at 7:30 pm.
WHBF-TV in Rock Island, IL and KHQA-TV in Quincy, IL also aired "Hee Haw" on Tuesdays at 6:30 CT, while "Good Times" was on CBS at 7:00 CT. I believe WHBF ran "Good Times" Saturday nights at 6:00, and KHQA ran the show Sunday nights at 9:30 (CBS Prime-Time on Sunday nights ran 6:30-9:30 CT back in those days).

And nonsense like this is why in just three months CBS would drop KXLY as an affiliate; KREM would take over the CBS affiliation, KXLY would move to ABC.
KXLY was dropped by CBS in February 1976 but the network wouldn’t move to KREM until the following August due to the Montreal Olympics. During that period KXLY began carrying “Good Morning America” while KREM aired “CBS Morning News” and “Captain Kangaroo“ ahead of the switchover.
