"Hot 101" KVPA South Padre Island/Brownsville

I was talking to a coworker about how I went to the Rio Grande Valley in 2006 and remember hearing a "Hot 101" playing Rhythmic. After looking up this station today, the little information that I found all indicate that this station was gone by May of 2003. I could swear I remember hearing "Oh Girl" by Paul Wall (came out in 2006) on this station and it was the same summer that Paris Hilton's "Stars Are Blind" was a huge radio hit as I heard it throughout the road trip to South Padre Island on KVIC and KZFM. Did "Hot 101" come back at some point or am I losing it? I only went to the valley in late 2003, 2006 and again in 2009. Total Mandela effect happening right now.

I remember the station. I think by 06, it was Super Estrella, wasn't it?
