1570-AM Rudolph the red nosed Reindeer in French?

From the parking lot of a church on Pleasant Street in Southington, CT I picked up a fairly strong signal on 1570-AM that was playing a French? version of Rudolph the red nosed Reindeer. It went into another Christmas song this time in English with no station ID. This was after 11:30 AM this morning. I'm fairly certain it must me a Canadian station because the only other 1570-AM I can usually pick up is WUBG out of Methuen, Mass (near Boston) and they run K-LOVE to feed a translator on 105.3 FM. Radio = Stock Radio in a 2010 Honda Civic LX.

Maybe off-topic, but ....

Each year, the eve of December 24th before church, we wrap and open Holiday gifts here to the strains of CJBC 860, and whatever French programming they offer, off that DX machine monster -- the Hamilton Beach can-opener / radio that came with the kitchen. It is tuned to 860 year 'round.

Despite the curious (and sometimes annoying) French ancestry shared between us, neither she nor I can make out more than one word out of thirty the CJBC announcers speak. It's simply a tradition to eat gift sausages and cheese, have nog and do gifts while having the can opener tuned to the faithful CJBC.
(She is of fuzzy ancestry in that way, probably French-Canadian. I go 1/4 French-Canade from Mom, plus 1/4 the Walloon / Parisian distraction from Dad :)

Point is, if Mario was hearing French music on 1570 at his den in Connecticut, it was from MONE - reee - ollll.
In fact, if you hear music at ALL on the AM dial nowadays, it's from Canada.
