‘Friends’ DVD, Digital Sales Soar as It Takes a Break From Streaming

Depends on how big a fan you are. If you truly want to watch a show or movie at any time, the physical DVD is still the only real guarantee of that. There's lots of things that aren't available to stream, or maybe they were once and now aren't, or they are on something you don't subscribe to. I'm sure there is some generational difference here as well.

lots of things have only been released on VHS
