They preempted that for this?

All of the Big Four broke in at the top of the 9:00 ET hour for a presidential address, affecting SEAL Team (CBS), Chicago Fire (NBC), Modern Family (ABC), and LEGO Masters (FOX) on the East Coast. ST and LM are new, CF and MF are repeats. CBS cut in a couple minutes after the others so that it wouldn't interrupt the end of Survivor, which always runs a bit past 9:00.

EDIT: FOX signed off at 9:12 as soon as the actual address is over and started LEGO Masters from the beginning. In the Mountain Time Zone, same story with The Masked Singer, which is also new tonight. The other networks still have coverage going.

Unlike FOX, CBS JIP'd its new SEAL Team around 9:17. NBC signed off at 9:19 and JIP'd Chicago Fire. ABC continued coronavirus discussion until 9:31, completely pre-empting one episode of Modern Family (tonight is a marathon of six episodes across the series history to celebrate its upcoming series finale), but the 9:30 episode was timed to start immediately after the signoff rather than being cut off.

Two separate coronavirus news conferences pre-empted evening programming in New Orleans on at least WVUE/FOX and probably the others in the Big Four. The first conference ran from about 5:40-6:20 and the second from about 6:27 to at least 7:16 Central. On WVUE, most of Jeopardy! was pre-empted except for the very end of the Double Jeopardy! round, and Wheel of Fortune was fully pre-empted, along with some of Masked Singer.

Friday and Saturday's UMD (Mn Duluth) and Miami, OH hockey games are on KBJR NBC Duluth. Both games start at 7pm

Friday's programming pushed to 1:07am Saturday morning (Lincoln Rhyme and Dateline)
Saturday's programming pushed to 1am Sunday (Fate of the Furious)

If there is a Sunday game, that is on My9 (KBJR-DT3)...reason they cant move NBC programming to My9 is the Wisco Girls B-ball tourney is there

Moot point. NCHC cancelled their post season tourney due to obvious reasons.

It's a Special One-Hour Inside The NBA covering the events of the past 48 hours (just about wrapping up as I type).followed by an Encore of The All-Star Game at 9pm Eastern. ESPN has been SportsCenter all day, and I suspect that will continue at least through the weekend.

Netflix and chill if it gets that bad.

Now Netflix is dealing with COVID-19 issues

Netflix on Thursday closed one of its L.A. office buildings for deep cleaning after it suspected that one of its employees might have the novel coronavirus, according to a person familiar with the matter.

The company has recommended all of its L.A. employees work from home, said the person who was not authorized to comment on the matter.

The building that closed, known as Icon, is Netflix's main L.A. office on Sunset Boulevard.

Netflix declined to comment.

Netflix is not the only studio to have employees exposed to the novel coronavirus. Two CBS News employees in New York tested positive, causing CBS to ask employees to work from home. The spread of the virus hit home for Hollywood on Thursday when Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson tested positive in Australia, where the actor is filming Baz Luhrmann's untitled Elvis Presley biopic.

In New York, WABC and WNBC both broke in from 10:28-10:41 AM today for a press conference on the opening of a drive-thru COVID-19 testing center in New Rochelle. Tamron Hall and Hoda & Jenna were interrupted. WCBS and WNYW did not interrupt Let's Make a Deal and Wendy Williams.

If you are wondering why WCBS-TV could not go straight to news over a press conference its due to the fact that KCBS-TV/KCAL-TV is taking over WCBS-TV's feed for Local news until the CBS offices in NYC is cleared and other CBS NY staff members are tested. Also KCBS-TV has to deal with local SoCal News at the same time.

With the CBS Broadcast Center in New York City essentially out of commission while it’s cleaned, the network’s flagship affiliate WCBS originated its newscasts from Los Angeles March 12 and 13, 2020.

DeMarco Morgan, who normally anchors KCBS’s morning and 11 a.m. newscasts solo anchored WCBS’s newscasts at 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. eastern time (2 and 3 p.m. in L.A., respectively).

Meanwhile, forecaster Lonnie Quinn delivered weather from the streets of Westport, Connecticut using the station’s mobile weather lab vehicle and live truck.

The back hatch of the vehicle was open with a video panel sitting on the floor of the cargo area, though Quinn didn’t try to use it for his maps — which were instead shown fullscreen.

CBS Broadcast Center is closed down after three employees tested positive for coronavirus. Staffers are working from home while the facility is cleaned.

Please be Advised the Cable News outlets will cover the White House Press Conference over COVID-19. Note some local stations around the nation might pre-empt the White House Press Conference over COVID-19 because of Mayors and Governors all declaring their states and cities States of emergency due to COVID-19.

President Donald Trump plans to declare a national emergency over the coronavirus pandemic, administration officials told NBC News.

The declaration would free up as much as $40 billion in financial resources to assist Americans affected by the outbreak.

The president has scheduled a 3 p.m. ET news conference Friday at in the Rose Garden at the White House. He will be joined by Vice President Mike Pence, who is leading the Trump administration’s coronavirus task force.

The conference is set to occur shortly after Trump is scheduled to meet at the White House with major laboratory company executives about the response to the coronavirus outbreak.
