At this point anytime the White House has a press conference over COVID-19 just assume that OTA's in general including the network O&O's will simply pre-empt the Trump edition of the COVID-19 press conference for local editions such as Governors, and Mayors at this point. If people were really interested in the Presidents response to COVID-19 at this point they would go straight to Cable News or the national news apps such as CBSN, NBC News, PBS, and ABC News Now at this point.

I can tell you from working for communications teams and also in newsrooms in situations like this mayors will time press briefing different from governors and governors different from federal officials, it doesn't work out 100% of the time, but this isn't a worry in newsrooms. All officials want to get as many as eyeballs as possible.
KWWL, Quincy Media’s NBC-CW affiliate in Waterloo, Iowa (DMA 90), is airing a live, half-hour special on the coronavirus situation, Coronaviris: Facts. Not Fear, tonight at 6:30.
The special will featuring a panel of local health experts, including the public health director of the Black Hawk County Health Department, the VP of clinic operations at UnityPoint Health and the chief medical officer at MercyOne Northeast Iowa.
The town hall will open with Abbott providing the latest information on the state’s response to the coronavirus crisis, followed by a 15-minute question and answer session between Abbott, the other state officials and KXAN anchor Robert Hadlock.
The broadcast will then allow approximately 45 minutes of questions submitted by viewers across the state. Viewers can pose a question to the governor or any of the show’s guests via a variety of social media platforms using the hashtag #AskAbbott.
Preference will be given to those questions submitted as videos rather than texts.
“We are proud to harness the combined resources of our local station operations throughout Texas to bring this virtual Town Hall to life, and we are grateful to Governor Abbott for allowing Nexstar to serve as the host of this special event,” said Tim Busch, Nexstar’s president.

So what? Really, you’re complaining about nonsensical favoritism? Priorities.Even during a pandemic, the Jeopardy! favoritism continues...
Tonight, KATU in Portland (ABC) aired a coronavirus press conference from 7:00-7:40. The crawl at the bottom of the screen said that Jeopardy! would air "immediately following" the conference. At 7:40, Jeopardy! was JIP'd as if it began at 7:30, effectively meaning it was moved to replace Wheel of Fortune on the fly. After it was over, Shark Tank started at 8:00 as usual, and Wheel did not air.

They re-rescheduled the makegood of Tuesday's Wheel to simply air Saturday evening at 6:30 PM Central on the main station, bumping the rerun to 4:00 AM Sunday morning.WTVY announced Tuesday's WOF will air Saturday morning at 6:30 AM on 4.3 CW, still listed as half of Rachael Ray (I guess that would have been a makegood? I didn't know RR had a weekend run).
