unless two different stations/owners are involved. Like in Minneapolis where TEGNA's KARE 11 has Jeopardy whereas CBS O&O WCCO has wheel
It's the same with Memphis, where Jeopardy is on WREG CBS 3 and Wheel is on WMC NBC 5.

WNBC New York aired an impromptu "special edition" newscast at 7:00
Really? A local man has been biking across the state and sending his reports on his travels to the local newspaper and he talked like everything was fine there.https://www.hawaiinewsnow.com/2020/...e-stay-at-home-order-coronavirus-cases-swell/

And Now Hawaii has pre-empted shows for yes the Shelter in place order.
WLKY Louisville (CBS) and WBFF Baltimore (FOX) also carried the President through to 8:00, pre-empting both Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune in both cities (Wheel is first on WLKY; J! is first on WBFF), and also pre-empting CBS Evening News on the former.

It wasn't an "impromptu" newscast at 7PM on WNBC. It was announced last week that WNBC (and most other NBC O&O's) were adding additional newscasts. (Most of the East Coast O&O's at 7PM Eastern). https://www.radiodiscussions.com/showthread.php?724129-NBC-Owned-Stations-Expand-Local-Newscasts
Note: WFSB the Merideth owned CBS station in Hartford also has a new local 7PM Newscast. (Replacing Inside Edition). When launched the 7PM Newscast was exclusively on their app. (They also started a 4PM Newscast, replacing local lifestyle talk show Better Connecticut).
I know I shouldn't complain but if someone can tell me how to see the questions and answers I missed online I can be content with that.
The NBC affiliate not only started late last night but they showed the wrong episode. They started from the beginning, and I knew something was wrong because Alex said the returning champion started the week with whatever she did. That makes it a Tuesday episode. And the second round ended abruptly before a commercial break followed by Final Jeopardy. Then when I turned to the CBS affiliate they joined in progress after something related to the virus and I saw they had different contestants. Maybe the NBC affiliate will fix whatever was wrong and show the whole episode later. I did check the Saturday episode and it had what was missing.
It would be good if Wheel and Jeopardy could get a next day carriage deal with Hulu like is done with a lof of other shows. They carry classic Jeopardy episodes and tournaments, but that's all I've seen.
Thanks for that info. On my guide, WNBC has an encore of NBC Nightly News listed at 7:30 and Access Hollywood is still listed at 7:00. WVIT does have local news at 7:00 and All Access at 7:30, though I believe when they do local news at 7:00, All Access gets replaced with Hollywood.
Speaking of Inside Edition, WCBS New York has withdrawn its news at noon all this week and replaced it with an encore of the previous day's Inside Edition; WCBS does not normally carry the IE encores, unlike with its companion ET. And WFSB has no IE at all until the weekend edition at the usual 1:35 AM on Monday morning.
Hm. WNBC didn't do a 7:00 newscast on Tuesday. They went exactly according to the listings - Access Hollywood aired at 7:00 and then Nightly News repeated at 7:30. WVIT did air news at 7:00, and as I predicted, Access Hollywood slid to 7:30. Is All Access on hiatus or something? Weird of WNBC to air Nightly News twice in a span of 90 minutes.
