ABC Sets Premiere Dates for Summer Game Shows, ‘Agents of SHIELD’ Final Season

ABC has unveiled its line-up of summer premiere dates, including the final season of “Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD” and “Holey Moley II: The Sequel.”

The “extreme mini-golf competition series” will kick off the network’s “Summer Fun and Games” programming on Thursday, May 21 with its 13-episode sophomore season. It’ll be followed that same night by the fifth season of the Anthony Anderson-hosted reboot of “To Tell the Truth.”

“Celebrity Family Feud,” “Press Your Luck” and “Match Game” will all return the following week on Sunday, May 31.

May is the release dates for ABC's summer programming.

Notice no Card Sharks or $100K Pyramid. They couldn't tape in time before Coronavirus suspended everything.
Fox was able to save Beat Shazam before the virus but I have not heard of a premiere date.

Could be possible that ABC could bring back Millionaire in more limited runs after the current one ends?

Lots of things are possible. Need to see another week or more to see how it holds up, and what happens with the 8 pm move. More data. They have plenty of time to study it, and then see where the needs develop.

"Pyramid" was my least favorite of all of them but I still liked it. Actually, "Card Sharks" didn't mean a lot except for Joel McHale's sarcastic comments.

Actually, "Press Your Luck" I only like for the Whammys. And because Elizabeth banks is so good-looking. "Pyramid" has a lot more going for it but isn't as outrageous as the other shows.

To me Card Sharks was the worst of the recent game show revivals because the winner had to risk the money they had won during the regular game in the bonus round and they could lose everything if they bet everything they had and the card was the same like the NBC version. It should have been where it was no loss like in the CBS version.

I agree. But they didn't have to risk everything. I think at some point they had the choice to quit or risk half.

I admit.....I liked the Gong Show reboot with Mike Myers/Tommy Maitland
Me too. He should have gotten an Emmy nomination for that. I never watched the original but some of the people on this new edition were genuinely talented.

I don't have the time for the show where people have real talent.
