Did iHeartRadio NBC News Radio gain new affiliates?

Hi, I’ve noticed that there was press releases from CBS, FOX, and ABC in regards of them getting new affiliates following the closure of Westwood One News. But nothing from iHeartMedia that I’ve seen as of yet. I know that KCAA 1050 out of Loma Linda, CA. has added NBC News Radio as they play the traditional chimes on their station ID on the top of the hour and they were one of the Westwood One News stations. But I’m shocked that iHeart isn’t as aggressive as it’s competitors as I feel there is still a need for radio news live or on-demand. Well hopefully there are more out there than the one I mentioned. But CBS and ABC were definitely the winners in the affiliates grab for sure.

I don't know if Iheart cares about expanding NBC Radio/Total Traffic affiliates though given that the current management of Iheart has been aggressive for advertising their podcasts on their app. The current iheart is aggressive in going after Spotify for audio audiences and subscribers.

They added KABC LA for Total Traffic:

From what I can see, NBC Radio News is primarily internet-only.

iHeart's Total Traffic & Weather division operates "24/7 News Source" which produces radio product, including top-of-the-hour newscasts, branded as "NBC News Radio." This is in addition to the generic/brandless products, including newscasts, they produce. KABC is taking these white-label products.

I'd have to imagine that KFI, owned by iHeart is the "NBC News Radio" affiliate for Los Angeles, and that KABC would not have access to that. However, the 24/7 News Source products will probably be similar to what KFI gets under the "NBC" banner.

For those keeping score, "24/7 News Source" is really the remnant of "Metro Source" - the news service operated by Metro Networks, which itself was owned by (the original) Westwood One and sold to iHeart (then Clear Channel) and integrated into CCU's existing Total Traffic Network.
