They preempted that for this?

The OT was preempted on Fox for...wait for it...actual OT in Chicago between the Saints and Bears. Only a six-minute delay for the Fox primetime lineup for the Eastern and Central Time Zones, although the Simpsons Treehouse of Horror lineup was actually delayed two weeks due to the NLCS going 7 games.

WLOS ABC 13 in Asheville, NC/Greenville, SC is moving Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy! up to 10:00 and 10:30 AM Eastern this morning since election coverage starts on the Big Three at 7:00. They replace one run of Family Feud (three other runs air on WMYA My 40) and Jeopardy!'s secondary run.

WWLP NBC 22 in Springfield, MA is also moving the shows to super-early mornings, but on separate days. Both are moved to 22.2 CW+ in paid program slots. Wheel already aired this morning at 4:30 AM. Jeopardy! airs tomorrow morning/late tonight at 3:00 AM.

A couple other interesting syndie moves for today...

Tonight's Wheel of Fortune has a contestant from Nipomo, CA. Her local station, KSBY NBC 6 out of San Luis Obispo, is moving the episode to the afternoon for her sake.

Usual Lineup:
2:00 - Tamron Hall
3:00 - Kelly Clarkson
4:00 - Ellen
5:00 - Local News
5:30 - NBC Nightly News

Tuesday's Lineup:
2:00 - Wheel of Fortune
2:30 - Ellen
3:30 - NBC Nightly News
4:00 - Election Coverage
No overnight syndies except The List at 3:00 AM

Tamron and Kelly are gone completely today. Oddly, no sign of Jeopardy!, although they do air the secondary run at 12:00, but it's still listed as a repeat. They will likely slide the rest of the week's episodes a day to Saturday (in which case both game shows are bumped to post-SNL because of CFB). KABC in LA is also sliding Tue-Fri to Wed-Sat for both shows, which is only fair since 90%+ of the contestants right now are in that market.

2:00 AM - Hot Bench x 2

Wendy is the only loss.

Interesting to see that Ellen is still getting top priority in most markets despite everything that's happened with her recently.

For some areas Local TV stations might pre-empt the network News for election coverage because they happen to be in a Battleground state for president or they have to report governors and mayoral races on election day too.

Only change I see here in Mankato, MN is Jeopardy gets bumped up from 6pm to 4:30 on KMNF (KEYC NBC) replacing the 2nd run of Judge Judy
I see TMZ and Extra are not being shown tonight (they usually run at 1:07 & 1:37am) due to NBC election coverage

I notice that WLOS seems to have a lock on the CBSTVD shows in Asheville (Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, Dr. Phil and Drew Barrymore)

This ended up not happening. Feud and J!2 aired as usual.

WPBN NBC 4/7 in Traverse City, Michigan was also slated to air Wheel and Jeopardy! this morning at 11:00 and 11:30 AM Eastern, but the usual shows 25 Words or Less and one of two Family Feuds aired. WPBN stated that they had to pull Wheel because they were no longer allowed to show it before 6 PM. They will air Tuesday's Jeopardy! at 11:30 AM Wednesday, but will be skipping Tuesday's Wheel.

Despite the "rule", KNDO and KHQ did both air Wheel at 12:00 PM PT today, and WTSP CBS 10 in Tampa is slated to make up both shows tomorrow afternoon at 3:00 and 3:30 PM, both replacing Daily Blast Live.

If WTSP can do that, fellow Tegna station WCNC could too (at 2 and 2:30) but I don’t see it in the listings.

I was going to ask but then you didn't see it.

Where can we see "Jeopardy" if not on TV? The last time neither of my stations aired it I did see a YouTube video that was quite annoying because the camera moved around constantly.

Just clips on YouTube is all. Current episodes aren't available on demand and Netflix and Hulu only show classic episodes.

No YouTube clip but I did a search that gave me this.

These pages have literally everything you'd want to know right down to who responded and when, all the incorrect responses, triple stumpers and Alex warning "Less than a minute to go."

WCNC hasn’t ever been known to re-air either one.

Back when TNF was on NBC, they would delay the Thursday-Friday episodes of Wheel to Friday-Saturday, and air the Saturday rerun overnight sometime after SNL. But that's not possible with either show this week because College Football on NBC starts at 7:00 on Saturday. WBBH in Fort Myers generally also delays the shows by a day if pre-empted (though they only do it for Wheel if it's a new episode, J! they do it regardless because champions), but it looks like that station skipped both Tuesday eps.

The only stations I've seen airing the shows on a one-day delay after Tuesday are the West Coast ABC O&O's: KABC LA, KGO SF, and KFSN Fresno

Welp, never mind. I don't think there showing Coverage anymore. My bad.

NBC was showing optional coverage from at least 7:00 PM. Roughly half the NBC affiliates in the ET, CT, and MT time zones, and almost all of the ones in PT, aired the coverage in place of their prime access hour shows, especially in states that aren't accounted for yet. WXIA in Atlanta was one of them, moving Wheel and Jeopardy! to WATL My 36.

KLAS CBS 8 in Vegas also aired CBS election coverage at 7:00.

Oh, OK. I think this happened yesterday.

Turns out NBC aired coverage from 7-11 Wednesday night. The 7:00 hour was optional.

Because of this, the 2-hour season finale of American Ninja Warrior was moved to Friday.

On the West Coast, a rerun of The Wall scheduled for 8:00 was moved to 9:00, and a Dateline rerun was swapped in for 10:00. 8:00 was presumably used for local news or syndies; Zap2It has that hour listed as TBA in all markets, but KHQ Spokane aired Jeopardy!/Wheel in that hour. https://www.khq.com/news/program-no...cle_50d8e3ea-1efc-11eb-a5bc-6fe826e5f73a.html

The Mountain Time Zone aired only Dateline at 9:00 MT. The whole NBC coverage appears to have been optional, though. KYMA in Yuma, AZ and KPVI in Idaho Falls were both showing Wheel at 6:30. KKCO in Grand Junction, CO did show the coverage. KNVN 24 in Chico, CA was the only Pacific NBC that aired WOF/J! at the normal 7:00 (of the ones that carry them).
