The Song Name Game

Eres Tu (Touch the Wind) - Mocedades

I am guessing that The Cars post was working with "the" as the common terminology in song name or artist?

(You Gotta) Fight For Your Right (To Party) -- The Beastie Boys

Lake Country Radio: While there's nothing technically wrong in basing a continuation of this thread on words like "the," I've seen it frowned upon here, especially when the "the" comes from the group's name, not the song title. Not sure what official policy is, if there is one.

Agreed. Using The is rather unimaginative. His song title is wrong anyway. Correct title should be "The Fish Cheer-I Feel Like I'm Fixin' To Die Rag". That's where the line "What are we fighting for" came from.
Let's reset with another tune ---

GOO GOO BARABAJAGAL(LOVE IS HOT)

Love Is Strange -- Mickey & Sylvia

"Goo Goo" is not part of the Donovan song's title, despite what some Google results indicate.
Not correct. It was issued with that title on early UK and US pressings. I have one.
Technically, it was Donovan with the Jeff Beck Group. (45 Single Version)
