TV Show Cancellation Thread (including ending ones)

Seriously, re: MacGyver.
Good.
Dumb revival that lasted too long thanks to the dumb folks at CBS just giving it renewal notices over and over. Reruns of the 1980s series were better.
I would like to see those. I just looked at the ratings for this week and once again, this show is not bringing the great numbers it once did.

Most things aren’t. And most shows five years in don’t do what they once did. For that matter, many shows come and go before reaching five in the first place.

Days of our Lives wraps production again with their renewal up in the air again. No news right now but something to possibly watch:

On a related note, one of the newspapers I look at online didn't run a soaps column the last time I looked at Sunday's. I know "The Young and the Restless" at least is on because one of the restaurants I go to is always showing it when I'm there.

The audience is not willing to stay up until 1:30 in the morning for some YouTube star trying to host a talk show. Carson Daly's show was pretty good on the other hand. I tried watching the primetime preview that aired after the AGT finale a couple of years back. I made it to about minute 9 or 10, then quit.
So, I wonder what replaces it this time? In the past, NBC aired SCTV Network at 1:35 after Conan. But that was in between "Later" ending and Carson Daly.

Sounds like a good chance of it being renewed
Years ago, I thought the entire soap opera genre would be in the ABC, NBC, and CBS graveyards by now. Have I been wrong or what? And what's amazing is Eric Braeden just turned 80, and he has no plans to leave his Victor role anytime soon on Y&R. Gotta love him, villain or not!

at this point, i can see NBC giving the slot back to the affiliates for fill with Syndicated programming or an extra 30 minutes to air Infomercials or just plug a replay of NBC Nightly News at that time.
