RKO scraps AM Drive newscasts at top and bottom of the hour.

Jesse Kelly (and other fill-ins) aired after VB was cancelled and before Grace debuted on WRKO from 12 -3 pm. I found it odd that he "reads but doesn't respond to" every email and thinks he is the most humsome (humble and handsome) specimen in history.

Yes the Sexton slot, soon to be Kelly is 6 to 9 pm...also afternoon drive out west. Before Sexton
it was Jason Lewis then Meghan McCain

Sure about that? His show's time slot is/was predominantly 6-9 Eastern, nationally. They've been running the standard "portions of this program are prerecorded" disclaimer everybody else is using even on 100% live shows. I guess that's the radio equivalent of the ubiquitous "this site uses cookies" message.
Yes, I'm positive and for argument sake, I just listened intently to the introduction and it stated: "The following is a pre-recorded program." If you actually listen to the program you can tell right away by the things he says, that it's pre-recorded. Old news, just like listening to Jesse Kelly!

Does anyone actually listen to Jesse Kelly for more than 15 seconds?

"E-mail me and tell Dr. Kelly how gorgeous I am before asking me, the smartest person in the world, your question! (but only on Fridays)" (click)

"I never prepare for my shows -- They present themselves brilliantly, based on my intrinsic talent alone!" (click)

"But before I I get to something current. here is a play-by-play of some historical event that happened 70 years ago ..." (click)

Pags, please (pray to pugs)

Only when it takes me longer than 15 seconds to fumble with my phone to change the station.

I'm hoping RKO moves Pags back to 7p to 10.

OMG it just occurred to me, would RKO then put a replay of Jesse Kelly on from 10p to 1a??

Sexton and Travis take over what was Rush's show on June 21 (1200 here). A week later I
believe Kelly will take over the Sexton 6p Premiere slot, as mentioned above. If 1200 is running him, after
Hannity and before Levin, I don't know why
RKO would run him as well.
Kelly's move to Premiere opens up a slot
on RKO schedule.Would they consider
Cumulus/W1's Dan Bongino, Cumulus/W1's noon show
(790 in Prov) but delayed to 7 or 10 pm
depending on whether or not they keep Pags at 10?

Outkick . com
Jesse Kelly has signed with Premiere Networks to host a new radio show from 6-9 pm ET, OutKick has learned. Beginning June 28, The Jesse Kelly Show will air each weekday on more than 200 stations nationwide and on iHeartRadio.

Premiere’s 6-9 time slot has been helmed by Buck Sexton, who on June 21 moves to 12-3 pm to co-host with OutKick founder Clay Travis

Talk1200 runs a "best of" Hannity on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. RKO airs the exact same "best of" on Saturday nite. So, why wouldn't they air a replay of Jesse Kelly everynite from 10 to 1? Pags needs to move back to the 7p to 10 slot, at least he's live from 7 to 9.

"Best of" shows for topical/current events-oriented shows are pretty stale for anyone who's paying the slightest attention to things by the time they go to air. They're still better than repeating the same podcast teasers by NPR-wannabes month after month after month after month after...

Speaking of TOH news...Didn't realize we have a CBS radio affiliate on the
FM dial here--WATD 95.9..they are doing Morning News now as I listen including traffic and weather on the 9s. CBS cast ran at 7.
I presume WBZ AM still runs some CBS.It had been owned by CBS for years; I also recall WRKO for some time being a CBS affiliate...they were briefly owned by CBS till spun off.

Wow, good recall on WRKO as a CBS affiliate before the Westinghouse acquisition; must’ve been back in late 80s, early 90s. Guessing WBZ is still CBS’ primary outlet, though they rely heavily on ABC News and, on rare occasions, NBC Newsradio (probably because iHeart operates the latter news operation for NBC). I believe there is/was a Worcester station (WCRN?) carrying some TOH CBS newscasts.

You're right - CBS went to WRKO in the fall of '90, after our less-than-amicable breakup with them at WEEI.
