A Matter Of Humanities was actually the pilot episode of Marcus Welby, M.D. . Madigan later became a
short-lived series as part of NBC's ill-fated attempt to duplicate the success of the Sunday Night Mystery
Movie on Wednesday(and later Tuesday) night.
