Why is Leland Vittert so annoying on WGN? Can’t stand his presentation.

That is a **HIGHLY MISLEADING** sentence for a thread.

Its [NewsNation], not WGN. Leland doesn't work for WGN. Just because he comes from the WGN studios, doesn't mean he works for WGN. No. He works for [NewsNation] and [NewsNation] ONLY.

DO NOT put WGN in this because WGN Chicago has absolutely nothing to do with it.

I hate to rant but I had to because I love WGN Chicago. It's my favorite Chicago station there (thanks to the *Superstation WGN* era and despite WLS being there).
 
Probably because he's trying to copy other successful cable "news" hosts like Tucker Carlson?
 
Ok thanks for the clarification. However, WGN was the beginning of news nation. I remember getting WGN local news in Washington State in 1990’s. But yes, it was relaunched as a different entity not WGN now. My post was just out of habit knowing the history. I stand corrected.

Don't apologize to this so-called "expert"...I would never let anyone like him disrespect me like that, and if he did, it'll be more than a flame war around here. You've acknowledged your mistake...all good, let's go on about our lives.
 
That said I was probably overly critical of Vittert. While he is not my taste in a news anchor he must be doing something right to be on that platform.

It really makes me angry a lot of times when I see posts like these, so and so is annoying I dont like them when no justiification or explanation about what you dont like them is given. Just venting a personal opinion is kind of immature for the most part in my opinion.
