Channel 36 changed its callsign from KGSC to KICU on that date, yet maintained the same weekday schedule under its previous callsign.

The generic 'cartoons' listing included stuff like 'George of the Jungle', 'Tom Slick' and 'Super Chicken', and some of the second-tier 60s Hanna-Barbera stuff(Magilla, Quickdraw, Ricochet Rabbit).

I remember seeing those first three for the first time last fall on KTLA 5 as part of Sunday's Popeye and Friends hosted by Tom Hatten. They also played The Little Rascals and Top Cat as part of that show.
 
I remember it being called "The Perfect 36" during the KGSC era. I left the Bay Area about seven months before it became KGSC, but we still subscribed to the SF Chronicle. That was where I learned about in its TV schedule.
