I don't think WXIA has ever done a morning newscast for WATL so this statement is misleading.
Yes they cid I think it was for the 7am hour only but they tried it.
I've been trying to do some research about this but I don't see any history regarding this.
Before the election Kelly aired at 10am as usual and Tamron was bumped to 1:36am to make room for the 3pm news. After the election was over the news stayed at 3pm but Tamron was only allowed to air at 1:36am through the election. So it switched with Kelly until the runoff was over. So for a month Tamron aired at 10am and Kelly aired at 1:36am. But now that the runoff is over, Kelly is back at 10am and Tamron is back at 3pm. Kelly continues to air at 1:36am as a repeat I think. Got that?
