Syndication for 2023-24

I Think Family Feud is no longer aired on Sinclair and Gray Televison station group and not in the list after 2022-23 season.

If that's the case in Greenville, SC it will be the first time it hasn't aired on My40 (and also WLOS ABC 13) since 2011 and it will move to WYCW 62 (who had the first season with Louie Anderson when it was WASV UPN 62; sister station WSPA 7 - CBS aired the original Dawson and Combs runs in syndication). WSPA and WYCW are owned by Nexstar and WLOS and My40 (WLOS 13.2, formerly WMYA) are owned by Sinclair.

so its not a pure primetime news live?

According to the schedule, not anymore. The 7pm newscast has been replaced by a 9am repeat, which makes no sense IMO.

same as KDFW's sister station KDFI which replays their half hour 6pm cast to 7pm

That makes more sense, but repeating something from the morning (9am) at night (7pm) doesn't make any sense. If its a 6pm repeat at 7pm, then it makes more sense and is way better.

WWL4 does replay Great Day Louisiana at 9pm on it's sister station WUPL54

Okay. That makes sense since its lifestyle but not when its an actual newscast when news, info, and weather are 10 hours old by 7pm.

Let's hope Karamo and Steve Wilkos will be cleared soon in any San Diego station if they get renewed so does Access in another station than my NBC O&O that carries Wheel and Jep in the 7pm hour. Plus more sitcom reruns and court shows from Bryon Allen to fill instead of replays of their midday newscasts.

This is not a surprise given that WB-Discovery’s CEO has been on a relentless cost cutting spree to boost profits. I would expect both shows to stay in reruns next year since the majority of their stations do not have extensive news departments to air newscasts in their place and the company can now make margin on them without the overhead. On a related note Byron Allen is the big winner with additional opportunities for his scripted court shows.

so does sitcoms reruns, I mean yes Pluto TV can give us game show, talk show and sitcom channels but few eps of comedy than a block of news are better stress reliver than watching them all day long besides people have vacations and errands to fill, we need more people to go outside than stream inside.
