KTWV is #3 overall. It's #5 18-34, #6 18-49 and #6 25-54. It's just an amazing station. The other day I heard "Just My Imagination" (1971) from The Temptations and the previous day I heard "You Really Got A Hold on Me" (1962) from Smokey Robinson & The Miracles. How does a station play early 1970s and even 1960s songs, and still it is Top 5 in the youth demo, 18-34?

It seems like Mister Weatherly has improved Kroq. They are almost tied with Kysr. I don't know when u dig into the numbers what's up? Thank God they got rid of Mike Kaplan. Now they need a good morning show. Klein is fine. Allie I don't care for. They made a huge mistake not replacing Stryker.

Or should I say I think they made a mistake replacing Stryker with Allie. The other Allie on Kevin and beans show was much funnier.

How does a station play early 1970s and even 1960s songs, and still it is Top 5 in the youth demo, 18-34?

It's the presentation, not the songs. They're mixed in with Daft Punk or Beyonce. Everything is in that groove. So it doesn't seem so odd. It just flows with the rest of the stuff.

I'm a bit over 70. I had The Wave streaming last weekend for half an afternoon and was surprised how much I enjoyed it.

Yeah the station is enjoying it’s life after being smooth jazz for years. I never thought I’d hear Nelly’s music on The Wave but I’m here for it.
