K291BX has a bad signal. The translator could move to another frequency. The 106.1 translator (K291BX) and KRZQ are co-owned, so currently the best guess for a 106.1 booster would be where the current translator is.
What Signal?K291BX has a bad signal. The translator could move to another frequency.
Yep never built but had 20 yrs to do so on 3 of these.btw the FCC's been busy cancelling translators

Just don't understand why the owner of KJUL didn't but Pahrump and Dolan Springs. Now he is fighting so LPF can keep them but its was too late.K280GF, K235CJ, and K288FS likely have never been on the air. The “ghost translators” were all owned by a company that @AmyMegan was victimized by. They stole 8 translators by hacking into her FRN account and transferring the translators to themselves. Then selling them for pennies on the dollar, and using the bankruptcy court to keep them from the rightful owner. Amy spent years and tens of thousands of dollars to fight that. She did manage to get back 3 translators after many years.
I had noticed that K235CJ had been silent since at least 2016. It was supposed to be a translator for KJUL 104.7, which is my favorite station in Vegas. I was really hoping that translator would go on since it’s definitely needed in the area. In 2021 I had noticed that K280GF was silent, and that its primary station was WHLS, an AM station in Michigan. I thought that was weird.
Amy had then told me that those two translators, along with K288FS and K246BK were owned by the company that screwed her over and made her life a living hell. So she came up with a plan to turn the translators in to the FCC as revenge because they’ve been silent without an STA for years. I was on board with it. I’ve been screwed over for over $40000 myself by people I thought I could trust, and I’ve always fantasized about getting revenge but not being able to do so. So I felt good helping Amy get her revenge on the company that screwed her over.
In February 2022 she came out to Vegas and then we went to the transmitter site for each translator. Two of them didn’t even have a tower at the site! I produced a video showing that the translators were silent. It was submitted to the FCC as an informal objection. They sent an inspector to the sites who confirmed my allegations. The owner couldn’t prove that they were on the air. Then the FCC yanked their licenses.
The fcc wasn't gonna give them another 20 yrs.Just don't understand why the owner of KJUL didn't but Pahrump and Dolan Springs. Now he is fighting so LPF can keep them but its was too late.
LPF was CEF and owned CTN. CTN is still in bankruptcy conversion status since 2017. Originally filed for bankruptcy in 2015. Public record. The DOJ is involved which has proven to be helpful. There are 423 records on file which is a lengthy case. All public record.K280GF, K235CJ, and K288FS likely have never been on the air. Finally a week later it hits Radio World. But they actually reached out to their consult or managing member for a comment. Unless he went to them. Still im shocked they published this.K291BX has a bad signal. The translator could move to another frequency.
