….and many more!!!

I guess so. I saw that WOGL was running AGH at 4AM Saturday morning. Not a great time. I guess that's where Rewind will go.

From what I can see, Gary owns this show and self-syndicates it with his wife & son. I didn't see it on the schedule for KRTH.
It’s on KRTH, I don’t remember the time, but it’s late in the day I believe on a weekend.

Look at that rundown. After KRTH, which is his own home station, and Las Vegas, we're into Greenville, Spokane, Fargo, Anchorage, etc. Not exactly top markets. The new adds from Audacy stations, all by themselves, kick his program into a higher orbit, even with them slotting the program into the overnight or fringe weekend hours. If the show demonstrates it has any pulse, it'll probably get moved to better timeslots.

CBS-FM previously aired "Rewind with Gary Bryan" for a few years in the early 2010s, I believe it was in the late Saturday/early Sunday midnight slot.

Rewind has been around for at least 15 years. It's not a bad show at all, but it's nothing special. It's essentially an Audacy Classic Hits playlist with commentary from Gary.

1059 in Orlando is also an Audacy station that has aired AGH through the entire run, but no mention of Orlando in Gary Bryan's tweet.

Because his tweet was to promote new affiliates, which Orlando is not. LA isn't in his tweet either for the same reason.

Interesting the way this is being handled. Radio Genius produces the show. Who handles the ad sales side of it?

Right. What I meant was that 1059 Orlando airs Scott Shannon right now, as do the Audacy stations in the cities Gary tweeted out.

Hmmm. That Orlando station is also one of the only Audacy stations that runs AT40 80s with Casey Kasem. Or it did in 2020.

1059 still airs AT40 the 80s on Saturday mornings. They've aired Casey now for well over a decade, first with the 70s shows and switching over to the 80s when their core playlist made it make sense. It started out on Sundays and then when AGH debuted they put AGH on Sunday and moved AT40 to Saturday.

I heard the end of the final AGH this morning on Big 98.1 in Philly. Scott takes a few moments to thank his listeners, says goodbye to the show and invites listeners to continue to follow him on his website.

I used to listen to Rewind sometimes on the now-gone Greenville affiliate. It wasn’t a bad show, but as stated earlier in the thread, it’s nothing you wouldn’t hear on an Audacy classic hits station. Gary’s just the DJ and talks more and the shows/music may be themed or topical.

"Rewind" has not launched in New York, with business (sort-of) as usual at WCBS. They rolled through the morning with normal programming, although the former show is still on the schedule.

1059 in Orlando did air Rewind in place of AGH this morning. I also noticed that 1059 now runs completely jockless from Saturday afternoon through Monday morning, save for Rewind/AGH before this week.

In case you’re missing last weekend, here it is. This is Scott Shannon’s final show for “America’s Greatest Hits”. Last year, he did his final morning show on WCBS-FM, and now, he ended his show with this. This final show was recorded off of WALL in Middletown, NY.

In addition to this final show, I’ll give as a special bonus. Scott Shannon made his announcements where he promoting the “True Oldies Channel”. Enjoy both of these airchecks.

I going to miss Scott Shannon a lot. He was my favorite DJ of all time where he came to Z100 with his “Morning Zoo” show, and then WPLJ and finally WCBS-FM. I missed him so much.

Less than a month after the announcement that AGH ends, longtime USRN guy Andy Denemark, who had a major part in bringing shows like AGH to air, announces he is stepping away from his 'day to day' after the Gemini purchase.

I will be curious to see if any other shows/talent wind up leaving the network.

As I was listening to his final show on WALL, he doesn’t mentioned anything about saying goodbye to his listeners, promoting his “True Oldies Channel”, nothing. Just the final show closing, and the top of the hour ID for WALL to go to CBS Radio Hourly News. I recorded his final show back on New Year’s Eve and posted the full final show online, along with a bonus where it came from SoundCloud if you go back to my previous post which I have two links below.
