Will you actually pay a finders fee this time?Looking to buy radio station $$ cash Deal ,,,on the coast of Georgia,,,,,or East Coast or Florida /West Coast of Florida. Michael 401-578-7919
Why would they do that? They're looking to avoid brokers fees, remember? Can you imagine? Someone who wants to own and operate radio stations but right out of the gate, starts penny pinching. Lord only knows what kind of operator they would end up becoming. Will you actually pay a finders fee this time?

I facilitated a deal for him in Florida and got burned. He had a LPFM in Florida as well, WVLG-103.3 in the Villages. This guy has owned an AM in Florida before and had an LPFM in Rhode Island.....
Sounds like a shady operator. And owning a derelict AM and LPFM doesn't exactly make him some budding media mogul.I facilitated a deal for him in Florida and got burned. He had a LPFM in Florida as well, WVLG-103.3 in the Villages.

Doo Wap?And when he had an AM in FL, he really was out of touch with realityin terms of technology and what people wanted to hear... and got bored quickly.
Don't laugh. I did a syndicated Beautiful Music syndication service in the 70's and the music was distributed on cassette. I had stations in multi-million markets like Bogotá and Lima plus San Juan, Santo Domingo, Guatemala City, Tegucigalpa, San Salvador, Panama City, Medellín, Cali, Bucaramanga, Quito, Guyaquil, La Paz, Santa Cruz, Asunción and lots of smaller ones.Yup
And he wanted to use cassette tapes on air

We used BASF Chrome metal tape and a bay of 12 Tascam 122 recorders for recording from the master via an Aphex Aural Exciter to avoid peak distortion. We recorded at -5 absolute peaks as most cassette gear is specified at -10 and 0 level would introduce degradation.
The result was very satisfactory on both straight listening and on actual testing.
Why? The shipping, customs duties and delays as well as tape cost were prohibitive.
Who asked that question?Interesting enough comment to ask "what happened to said properties...." near The Villages.

If they actually pay the person that facilities the deal,,,I've wasted a ton of money over the years but one spot that was never a waste was paying a broker. Having someone as an in-between myself and the buyer/seller is worth every penny.
I will let him explain the situation if he chooses to.If he has property, including the station, couldn’t a lien be placed on his business, assuming there is something of value?
