No Sale Looming, ESPN 98.7 expected to pivot to Music

It sounds like everyone is treating this station like it's radioactive [as in nuclear] and no knows what to do with it or wants anything to do with it. Why not just turn the damn license in?
Not so much that as a case of Emmis asking more for it than anyone is willing to pay.

I guarantee that if Jeff Smulyan did surrender the license, his board would have him committed.

I would rather be forced to listen to looped airchecks of Bubba 98.7 in Tampa (Now 98.7 The Shark) for the rest of my life than a 24/7 loop of a morning show. And I don't know how that's humanly possible. But hey, at least it's not silent. That's what matters.
 
There was another announcement by Judy Deangelis. Among other things, she said a certain personality will be returning.
