Netflix snags 2027 & 2031 FIFA Women's World Cup broadcast rights in the U.S.

No indication in the story that any of the games, including the finals, will be shared with either an OTA network or a sports-only cable/streaming network.

Probably needs to be a bit closer to when the matches actually happen before anything like that is announced.

Much like the MLS final just a few weeks ago - Apple+ had the semi-final matches, then at the conclusion, it was announced that it would also be on Fox.

FS1 also carried some MLS regular season games. This deal is different. Every game will be on a streaming-only service that no one associates with sports.

They have the NFL so in a few years FIFA will be easy to find. This is not happening for a few years. Plenty of time to market it.
