Fm for sale:

Yes KVMX is the local 92.1. Keep in mind this thread is speculation and the station in question could be one of several facilities. 92.1 is a rimshot licensed to Placerville, east of Sacramento but it’s transmitter is 3,000’ above the valley so (car) reception around Sacramento is quite good. That being said it’s only 6kw about 45 miles from downtown, so you still need a good antenna.

I know by Google maps,
it's far.... but the coverage map,
as I have learned on this forum -
esp, radio locator could be less than accurate
this station, in my personal opinion, wouldnt be a sacramento market rimshot even on its best day

89.7. Lodi
92.9. Nevada City
95.1 Carmichael
98.9. Clarksville
99.1 Williams
99.5. Citrus Heights
103.9 Lincoln

88.3. Chico
91.9 Middleton

They also own 107.1 North Highlands which is being leased out to iHeart.

You're right, Michael. I should have said "By My Count". Didn't think the 92.9 made it to Sacramento, and 88.3 is a mish-mash of KCPC and KLVC depending on where you are. There's also a 98.9 in Auburn, which may or may not technically be a part of the Sacramento market. Not sure.

I feel like 103.9 will most likely become Air 1, as K-Love already has adequate coverage in Sacramento, but Air 1 relies on HD from KLVB and translators.

La Nueva Vida or turn it off
That 98.9 Clarksville actually has decent coverage. 250 watts at 1,037 feet, albeit directional. I’m sure someone would want that. There is also a CP to change to 99.1 but that would get lots of interference from 99.1 Williams. Not sure what EMF is looking to do there.
