I'm hoping you misheard "Fernando" and that I'll get to post one of my favorite ABBA songs! They now have a DJ in the afternoon as well, named Alejandro.
Those of us who worked for him know that is not true and never was. He’s still in Charge ? I thought he sold everything to buy the Mariners
Thanks for the apology. So often those who are corrected react with anger that it is refreshing to find someone with such honesty.Sorry 😞
It's not like Emmis is really trying to format competently.
A reminder that this is merely a temporary placeholder.
Might as well settle in and try to make the most of it in the meantime.
He gave his his first name as "Jorge." His surname sounded like either Miel, or Miguel. They now have a DJ in the afternoon as well, named Alejandro.
It is puzzling to me. Are we thinking that Emmis is keeping WEPN-FM for a few more years? That's why Emmis has added live DJs? Because live DJs cost money, not an expense you'd go through if you were hoping for a sale this year. Not to mention introducing DJs who might not be around under new ownership.Isn't that what he's doing by hiring local on air talent?

Although Cloud technology and AI talent? What could possibly go wrong? Then again, it's only radio. Nobody dies if things go sideways.I'm kinda surprised that they haven't used 98.7 as a test bed for AI talent. It seems like it would be a win-win, especially with the station largely running off cloud technology.
