I didn't see this so I thought I'd post it. On 29-Oct-2024 an agent of the FCC Enforcement Bureau inspected WLLL's transmitter site and found numerous violations, including no obstruction to the public accessing the RF potential at the tower base (partly fallen fence), all tower lights out with no NOTAM, no application for transfer of control following the death of sole owner Fletcher Hubbard, failure to reduce power at night, and failure to make the station available for inspection. A Notice of Violation (NOV) was issued 12-Jan-2025.

I know - I've been working in the Roanoke/Lynchburg market for nearly 40 years, since before the late Fletcher Hubbard bought the station. That the station ignores the Rules & Regs is a major factor in their inability to get any of the experienced engineers in the area to work for them.
