Charlotte Ratings July 2025 - Big Jump For The Fox, Big Drop For Mix

While their ratings may be down, are their cume numbers and other demographics still strong enough? And overall ad revenue still good?
Or should they consider moving WBT to 107.9 for stronger FM coverage, especially west of Charlotte? Or just let 99.3 fill the gap, although it doesn't reach all of Mecklenburg County or areas north and east of Charlotte.
They're not putting WBT on 107.9

Well I guess then they will maintain the Mix format or adapt to something else. But I wonder if some point they would consider a stronger FM signal for WBT that would reach the total market? 99.3 mostly reaches west of Charlotte. And AM can be prone to static and interference. Moving AM talk to FM has been a trend in other markets such as Atlanta. They don't even promote WSB as 750-AM anymore, just 95.5-FM. But if their only choices are 107.9 or 105.3, I guess they will leave WBT as is.

WBT is the top billing station in the cluster. LNK is usually right behind them. It doesn’t make sense for them to do that. They would lose a lot of money. As of right now, they need to leave everything alone.
