Congratulations to our friends and colleagues who have been selected as the 2026 inductees into the Buffalo Broadcasters Hall of Fame. This year’s honorees include:
Scott Levin – Scott joined WGRZ-TV in 1998 and currently co-anchors alongside 2025 inductee Mary Alice Demler. Over the course of his career, he has earned multiple Emmy Awards as well as the prestigious Edward R. Murrow Award.
Jon Summers – Jon began his career at WKBW-AM in 1974 and became widely recognized as the imaging voice of WKBW-TV’s Eyewitness News. He also enjoyed a 27-year tenure on AM Buffalo as an announcer and segment host. His broadcasting career includes on-air roles at WBEN-AM, WBEN-FM (Rock 102), and WECK-AM.
Sandy Kozel – Sandy served for a decade as a news anchor at WGR-AM and as a reporter for WGRZ-TV. She later worked as a correspondent for the AP Radio Network and continues her broadcasting career today as an anchor at WTOP NewsRadio in Washington, D.C.
Dennis Webster – Dennis concluded an extraordinary 54-year career at WJTN in Jamestown in 2024. A trusted voice in Chautauqua County, he covered news, sports, and agriculture with distinction.
Bob Koshinski – A four-decade veteran of the broadcasting industry, Bob has held leadership roles including Vice President and General Manager of Empire Sports Network, WNSA-FM, and WBBZ-TV. His versatile career spans work as a television anchor, reporter, videographer, radio host, and executive sports producer.
Rick Swenson – Rick dedicated 33 years to WKBW-TV as a photojournalist, covering both news and sports. His career uniquely spans the evolution of broadcast technology—from hand-cranked film cameras to the digital era.
