MovieSphere Gold new diginet

Looks like MovieSphere Gold will adding new shows to their late night/early morning schedule in October. The 1988 Horror Anthology TV Series called "Monsters" is listed as airing on Friday October 3 at 1:11 AM with 4 episodes and the 1991 Kids Horror Science Fiction Series "Eerie, Indiana" is listed as airing Sunday, October 5 at 1:35 AM with 3 episodes. Nothing is currently scheduled in late night/early morning on other October with schedules, so have to wait and see if they add anything else.

There is still no detailed program information on the TiVo guide, although it finally started displaying "Moviesphere Programming" instead of "Bounce Programming" on KMEX 34.3 here in L.A. a few days ago.

The 34.3 signal is now showing actual data for me as of tonight. I'm currently seeing "Kill Bill: Vol. 2" from "4:28pm-7:20pm" with a full description and ratings info.

What I would really like is if the channel would be broadcast in MPEG-2 instead of in MPEG-4. There's an old television in the house that can't see it due to lacking support for the latter, and given the demographics for classic films, I would think a decent percentage of the potential audience might still be using older televisions lacking AVC.

Maybe on your TiVo but not on mine.

Who do stations even send their listings data to these days? In the beginning, they sent everything to TV Guide directly. But eventually other services came along to supply various newspapers and independent listings companies (remember the early internet listings alternatives like ClickTV and Zap2It?). These days, I wouldn't know who's (or how many are) still accepting and distributing listings data from stations, given all the consolidation and buyouts.

Clicktv is a Streaming Service as I can see that has like French and so on channels. Zap2it good for Everfast or so on.

Which universe are you in, please? Zap2It has redirected to NewsNation's listings since March.

But a poster bought it up.

Please note bolded and colored segment of original post.

You answered as if Zap2it was still a current service.

It is not.

MovieSphere Gold along with Lionsgate's MovieSphere Fast Channels are now going to be Nielsen rated.

Looks like MovieSphere Gold will be changing its lineup in May. Eerie Indiana appears to be off the lineup with a rotation of other TV shows taking over its late night timeslot along with the weekday morning movie timeslot. Shows joining the rotation include Rookie Blue, Anger Management, The Beverly Hillbillies, and Bonanza. Not sure if these are Public Domain episodes of Beverly Hillbillies, and Bonanza or CBS owned episodes. CBS does handle ad sales for the network, so they could be getting them from CBS. First time the network is airing non Lionsgate programming.

They probably ran through the entirety of Eerie, Indiana three or four times already, so an update was likely in order. They continue to show some decent films. I discovered one I never saw before this weekend on there, 'Killshot' (2008) an adaptation of an Elmore Leonard novel.
