Rest of Indiana WXXC Marion, WCJC Van Buren sold to Taylor U.

What do they plan to do with WCJC? Because it's entirely within the contour of WXXC as far as I can see. I'm not sure the demographics are there to support the WRNP format on WCJC... And they will end up with a 101.3 W267BN translator also entirely inside the WXXC contour.
I would assume WXXC is most likely going to simulcast their main WBCL format, but I'd like to know what the plan is for 99.3 and 101.3 going forward.

Grew up listening to WBAT & WMRI-AM on a Heathkit crystal set in the 60s. Really had to experiment with makeshift antennas to pick up WMRI, and later WGOM. I can still remember the sunset sign-off music that played on 860 at the end of the day. Hope a sale goes through for both at some point, and neither station surrenders their license, like they did with WIOU.

Radioinsight says the stations lost their building lease. IIRC WMRI-860 towers are directly behind the building. Wonder how WXXC and WCJC are (apparently) still operating from the same building (after being sold) ?

Hoosier AM/FM this week applied for a 90-day extension on consummation of the deal. On February 15 both stations
got STA for "loss of the tower site lease"; attachment stated Hoosier would attempt to renegotiate the tower leases.
It could be that Taylor U won't proceed with the original deal unless Hoosier 1) is successful in renegotiating the tower
site leases or 2) the sale agreement is renegotiated because new tower site(s) have to be located and approved.

The clusters AM's, WBAT and WMRI, are presumably on the market too (STA for them since December).

Darn so could this mean there’s a chance they may not ever come back on the air if it’s not negotiated? I never really got to hear WCJC because of WHKO’s HD. It really makes me wonder what Taylor U’s plans are for WXXC and WCJC if they go through with the deal as they already have that 101.3 translator in Marion and 106.1 in Muncie along with all the other translators well within WXXC’s old coverage. I’m a Dxer over in Greenville Ohio, 106.9 especially being off air leaves an open frequency for me in most cases. However now it’s quite common to hear Saint Matthews Kentucky’s WVEZ (Louisville)
