The show is built around segment producers who keep the talent in line. It's a pretty big team.
Tanya is the daughter of longtime CBS correspondent Bob Simon. So she knows what she's doing. No amateurs on that staff.

I heard something on NPR yesterday about the networks getting their licenses taken away. I'm surprised whoever was reporting didn't say that only the stations have licenses, and that whoever was saying what was said was wrong.
True but it's Trump own rants or the FCC Chairman's own statements that ended up looking like networks are licensed but it's the local affiliates as we mentioned here.
That's probably what NPR was referring to.
If you look at all the data, the networks make much more from the net than from the operation of a few local stations. And that was true when local TV was more significant and much more now when OTA tv is in descent.
Yet the chairman of the FCC is directing his investigations at the three networks, while using the stations as his justification.
For public radio & TV, his investigations have to do with the network sponsorship announcements that air on those stations. Not station sponsorships.
That does not change the fact that O&O’s are less and less of a revenue source fore the whole enterprise.
However, the Republican intent is obviously to make the “public” think that they have regulatory control of the networks.

Chef Geoff’s, an American restaurant founded by Norah O’Donnell’s husband Geoff Tracy, was raided by nearly a dozen ICE agents on Tuesday morning.
Note this is a business managed by Geoff Tracy and whatever stuff that lead to the investigation to take place by ICE Agents. But the headlines tie it back to CBS News Correspondent Norah O Donnell.
True too but that's not how this goes with this administration. Apparently this search warrant didn't even go through the courts it went through a higher ranking ICE agent instead.
