I'm not sure it's on in #3 Chicago, #8 Washington, #9 Philadelphia or #11 Detroit. iHeart doesn't have talk stations in any of those cities. I have not heard of any local station in those markets picking up the show.
This leads me to disbelieve iHeart's claim that Clay & Buck are cleared on 400 stations. If iHeart owns 150 of them, could there be more than 100 local owners clearing this show?
Chicago has three talk stations. WGN which carries no syndicated shows, Cumulus owned WLS and Salem owned WIND. Cumulus and Salem have their own network shows to run. Same in Washington, home to Cumulus WMAL and Salem WWRC. Same in Philly with Audacy-owned WPHT, Salem's WNTP and WKXW Trenton, which runs no syndicated shows. And in Detroit, there's only Cumulus WJR and Salem WDTK. iHeart does own an AM station in Detroit, WDFN, but that runs the Black Information Network.
I don't see how the Rush Replacement show is getting heard in too many markets with no iHeart Talk station.
