As a fan of the urban format on Power, and not so much of Nova, or edm, I feel cheated. Why does Nova get more than 24 hours! ;p

The dance fans didn't get duped like the urban fans did. So they're going to play the game a lil longer is my guess..

They didn't get duped because we already HAVE an edm station whereas nothing close to Urban. Anyways, wait and see. Glad Pebbles is getting another gig on Boston radio

I originally pointed out that IF Nova would have gone on the air and there was no Evolution then the dance crowd would have fallen for this stunt. In fact,I think that was going to be the real stunt but Evolution took care of that.

However,I do notice more id's on this loop lol.

I hope they change to Rhythmic AC, or Urban AC. I'd still say, if they change to Urban AC, they should go with "The Touch" Cumulus Media Network. That's the best out there

And if they decide to go Rhythmic AC, they should use "The Doug Banks Show" weekday afternoons, and "The Quiet Storm"-Superadio.com on weeknights (Monday-Thursday), I'd say they should do that

Another loop, and they also seem to be making some audio adjustments. The sound is actually pretty bad right now, at least on the stream.

Streams sounding always awfull on most of the stations. They using too low bitrates in these times of broadband internet.

Yeah I'm aware of that, but there was a noticeable change on the stream for like 10 minutes. Now back to normal.

It is now official...Irving, Irving can you get camera 3 in on this? (Jerry Williams)...

Veteran radio programmer Cadillac Jack McCartney has been named as the Director of Programming at Greater Media Boston. He will officially begin his new position on Monday, January 7, 2013.

If they go Rhythmic AC, I'd like to hear Lady D middays, Karen Blake in the afternoon, and Chuck Perks at night. That would make me very happy.

I tuned in briefly last night to their 32k AAC+ stream. Sounded pretty decent for streaming.

That's the only version they have played (even yesterday).

when they did power 96.9 the first song was the diamonds from Rhianna that we hear everyday on 94.5 103.3 etc.

Love how the press release just says "96.9." Jeez this is such a slow roll out...you would think they were announcing the vice presidential candidate or something at this point.
