By the way, Evergreen did something similar in '96 when 103.5 New York was flipping from Country to KTU: they simulcast a different sister station for a day for a week, leading up to the official format launch. Kiss 108 even got a day in the Big Apple.

Also, I think the most telling thing from all these stunts is the Greater Media is going after Clear Channel, and wants that to be blatantly obvious. First, an actual urban unlike 94.5. Second, a dance station. Now, variety hits, which CC dropped for Evolution. Plus all the hires of old CC employees. The actual station GM launches will likely do the same: go after the same demos as CC's stations. This is hilarious.
