10 AM on 96.9, and...

They're probably blowing through their domains they registered. They already blew through Power and Mike (even though Nova wasn't registered earlier; that probably takes care of the "Pulse" domains as well). Hmmmm...
 
Well I have to chime in and say I'm loving 96-9 Mike FM. 93-7 Mike FM was my favorite station. Didn't like the Power or Nova stunts at all, I don't like Evolution and I don't like Amp. I don't expect the current stunt to stick around but I'll be ecstatic if it does.
 
When message board participants finally tire of these stunts, what do we clueless corporate radio types do for attention next? A couple of us really want to know.
 
Well I have to admit I haven't seen this many quick responses to a topic in a long time on this entire site. Looks like someone's doing something right. Sure beats the usual effortless flips of the past decade. Maybe it doesn't compare to the old days, but I bet the hype on the street will be pretty good .... Even if it is just radio.

Me too. But it's stunting...playlist started repeating about 6 hours of play song for song.....
 
i don't think i've ever seen a thread go so far in pages 54?? that's impressive and yes something must be doing something right here.

Great post. Agreed, this is the most fun Boston radio has seen in a LONG time... I work for another radio company and even I am tuning in daily to hear what is coming next.

I'm thinking Monday morning the true format will finally be revealed... or perhaps they will keep it going for another week? What does everyone else think?

I am thinking that too, or that they will reveal the new format by midweek instead.

It's not that you guys are clueless, it's that we've heard it all before, so we're jaded.

-29 year old male with no spouse/kids and plenty of disposable income who doesn't listen to Sports Hub, WEEI (with the exception of Sox and Pats), or WAAF.

Yes but after hiring Caddy Jack and Pebbles etc it doesn't look like they will.
They already said Pebbles will be on 93.7...what, have her on a variety hits station?
Yeah, and have Howie Carr run some heavy metal on WAAF, why not.

Narrow playlist. Many "songs we know". It could do well, but given the hires they've done
I doubt it.

But its a format and it works, not that they will be sticking with it at all, just saying.
