10 AM on 96.9, and...

Don't worry Lauro, they won't be putting on a Rock station. They already have WBOS.

I think you will be pleasantly surprised when Pebbles comes on at 6:00 tomorrow morning.

(Don't tell anybody, but I'm thinking... you know.... Urban/AC.)

Love this Bone format, my favorite stunt so far. Too bad it won't last :-\

Now Jimmy, do you mean an urban mix of AC or straight out Urban AC instead?

What I'm thinking is not really Urban AC, but maybe Jammin' Oldies. Like this. That would be a mix of '60s-'90s soul, disco, funk.

Yep, your in the right direction. Maybe some more 80's and early 90's in the mix. There is a revival going on with this type of format in the country. CC launched a same format like that in San Diego 2 weeks ago.

"80s, 90s, 2K, and today. Picking you up and make you feel good.". A hybrid of a Rhythmic AC and Jamn Oldies. Just a prediction.

i'm thinking just like star 93.7,and i even have a name since its on of the only domains they haven't used yet. 96.9 the beat!!

Yes some people have a clue of when the real format will be launched but no one that would share that info on this board.

I'm hoping for the power format it was my favorite but i know that's too good to be true, since then i have sampled v103 in Atlanta which is great if only Boston could support a station like that here!!!

IIRC, there was a couple of country-type domains mixed in the batch, so there may still be at least one more stunt format to go. ::)

A Rhytmic Urban format with today's music in the mix don't fits in that format. Today's music and music from the 80's sounding totally different. My guess is only a broad mix with 80's, 90's rhythmic with some tracks from 2000 what fits with that 'jammin oldies' format.

Actually, there are still other possibilities out of the domain names registered for a name with a rhythmic ac/rhythmic oldies format. Could be B96.9 or 96.9 The Groove. For some reason, I'm thinking B96.9 in the end, but that's obviously just speculation.

And on the stunting....would have been more fun if they played 1 song as Power, then 1 song as Nova, then 1 song as Mike, then one song as Bone....I actually wish there was ONE station in Boston that would play Calvin Harris, Led Zeppelin, Nirvana, Psy, The Tramps, Brad Paisley, The Tubes, Jon Luc Ponty, Stone Temple Pilots, Pete Shelley, Soundgarden, Avicii, Earth Wind & Fire, Big & Rich, The Doors, LMFAO, Pat Metheny, Joe Diffie, and Metallica BACK TO BACK!.....Now that would be an AWESOME station.....

Sounds like the Voice Over Guy for the Mike and Bone formatettes is at least having some fun! ("Finally a Rock Station with Balls" 96-9 the Bone")
