Well, that's interesting. Not that "HI" in all caps is hard to put on a website, but that's exactly what the Power 96.9 website said two minutes before the launch. But, yeah, could be.

KTU has been playing more freestyle lately. Although,not as the same rate as the old version.

Jean-Luc Ponty, actually. I remember hearing one of his compositions, "New Country" on WCAS back in the mid-'70s. I can't imagine where, except on some specialty show on a college or public radio station, you could hear anything by him now.

Right, that Pebbles lady. Well, they can put her on 106.7, or maybe they start tweeking 105.7. Seems to me, if she's really as talented as everyone says (I personally have no idea, never listened to 94.5), then she could do any format. This sort of rock format is going to draw the biggest audience in the Boston area, simple as that. People in their 30s, 40s, and 50s, the ones actually contributing to society, smart advertisers will get on board.
